Automotive Air Conditioning Service & Repair

When your car's air conditioning is working properly and blowing "ice cubes" out of the vents, it can be an amazing thing, but, when it decides to start blowing "hot air" on a hot day in the summer you learn to appreciate the simpler things in life we sometimes take for granted. If your air conditioning isn't working properly, don't sweat it, call us at 865-463-2233 to schedule an appointment and we will solve the problem.

There are several components of automotive air conditioning. A compressor, a condensor, an evaporator or drier, refrigeration lines and sensors. Your air conditioning system works by: First, a belt powers the system by compressing, pressurizing and pumping the refrigerant through the A/C system. Then, refrigerant is pushed through a valve where pressure and temperature are reduced. Next, the cooled refrigerant travels through the evaporator and is blown into your vehicle. Finally, the refrigerant returns to the compressor -- and the cycle begins all over again.

Below, we will share with you what the components of your air conditioning system do.
